I love Sarah's 2004 Showhouse, especially the back view, but we do not want 2 story. We only want 1 story with a basement since we are empty nesters and also live in Iowa. Any suggestions, help would be appreciated. Wanting to get plan finalized in July 06.

Take the plans to an architect and see if they might be able to modify the plans to suit your needs. You can find an architect or residential designer in your area by visiting our home professionals directory.

You should look under your state in the home professional directory on the Not So Big House website for a residential designer or architect. Or look for someone with some stock prairie style plan you like. I have attached a rendering of one I just got done designing I also have some other you might be interested
