We are seriously considering building this home with a basement on 6.5 acres of land that we own in Tennessee. My concern is a 3 car garage-the plan with the crawl space has a 3 car garage ;so,that is not my problem-I am worried about the size of the garage overwhelming the house. Has anyone seen the house built with a 3 car garage? What do you think-any suggestions? We have lots of room to work;so,the house could be angled on the lot. Also ,does anyone have any cost estimates on the house? We are working with a budget of $300,000.00. Our land is already paid for ;so,that would be for the house only.Could we build the house for that-perhaps with some compromises in finishes etc.and possibly do those later when money is available. Any help would be most appreciated.Thsnks,Judy
