I would like as much information as I can get about using straw as a building material. we live in North Dakota so it can get very cold and humid in the summers. I do have specific questions but if anybody can point me in the right direction that would be great. Thanks Mike

Mike,
I found a book at Barnes&Nobel that is helpfull. Which on line is your best source. I haven't bult one, but what I have read and have seen on TV, sound like one would be a good investment. As far as the walls R value and sound deading quality(because of thickness). With the increase of utilites. Good Luck!

It is so nice to see all of your interest in the Green Building! Although the straw house is only a small fraction of the many ways and methods of Green Building, my hat's off to you all!
Best of luck with your projects!! Let us all know how things progress, please.
