I want to build a 1 story prairie style home with a basement fall 06. I love Sarah's 2004 showhouse, especially the back view, but we are empty nesters and do not want a 2 story. Can anyone help me with a plan?

You should look under your state in the home professional directory on the Not So Big House website for a residential designer or architect. Or look for someone with some stock prairie style plan you like. I have attached a rendering of one I just got done designing I also have some other you might be interested in.

You might also take a planning set of the 2004 showhouse plans to an architect, and see if they would be able to modify the plans to suit your needs. Again, check out the home professionals directory on this site to find an architect or designer in your area.
