Sarah, I feel like I know you. Nov. 2000 I first purchased and read and pored over "The Not So. Big House."I knew one day I would build a home and I loved every word you wrote on the subject and have memorized the photos in your books. I then did the same with "Creating The Not So Big house". Since then we have a site next to my mother which is lovely. We also endured Hurricane Katrina which poured 4 and a half feet of water into our existing home. We are now ready to build and I am so overwhelmed and confused about what plan to use. WE have been searching for so long. We have about 40 feet across the front and 50 in the back and cannot have more than 50 deep. We need porches. If you are any of your readers have suggestions for plans we need help. I havent even gotten to read your new book but it is what I am living and thinking since the storm. You really see what is important after something like this. Thank you for all your wisdom and love! Vicki
Do you have high speed internet service? If you do, I may be able to help you. Most of my designs are custom for each client, but my process is unique and can be surprisingly affordable. It's described on my web site under House Call.
