I was wondering what the dimensions are for the cherry headband that you use on page 113 as well as the maple baseboard and shoe? In these private areas do you trim out the doors the same way as in the public areas with the cherry?

Hi Bill,

In the upper right hand image, the cherry headband is 1 1/2" x 1 1/2". In the lower left photo, the headband is constructed of the same cherry, with 3/4" x 3 1/2" (which is a 1x4 nominal) maple on top of that. The base is 3/4" x 5 1/4" (1x6) with 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" cherry cap.

Thanks.

Marie
