We have purchased the prints for Sarah's Not So Big House. In the electrical plan, sheets E1,E2 and E3 they give the layout for outlets, and lighting, both surface mount and recessed fixtures. The fixtures all are identified with a letter such as A thru K. The letter C for example must designate a specific type of size of recessed "can" type fixture, because it is used in numerous locations throughout the house. My question is, is there any additional information available regarding the actual fixtures being used? manufacturer, brand, size, bulb size or shape, low voltage etc. This question also applies to the surface mount wall fixtures and sconces. Thanks in advance for any assistance.

I don't have one of these sets of plans myself, but as I understand it, it is common practice to have letter designations, and a key to them somewhere in your plans. There should be a whole page of "specifications" that lists windows and doors as well as light fixtures and other stuff. Check with the people you bought the plans from -- maybe they missed the page or something.

Yes - definitely ask for the spec sheet. There should have been one with the set of plans. Please e-mail me at info@notsobighouse.com if you have any trouble getting what you need.

Thanks!
