On page 58 of Home By Design in the Chapter "The Art of Interior Views" the ceiling of an axis hallway is done in fir plywood between exposed beams to create a distinctive hallway space. In the house that we have had designed we have a similar hallway space and I am wondering how difficult installing such a ceiling is. There are a few things I was hoping to do myself. Any advice is appreciated.

we're after doing something similar in our main living room with birch plywood. Did you end up doing a plywood ceiling in your house? how did it go? what did you use to adhere the plywood to the ceiling?
any help much appreciated
