hey all,

we have entered a project that was already in progress and near completion. the windows were already installed, but we have the opportunity to choose our trim. the windows are stainable pine. does this limit our choice of trim materials? i have seen interesting windows with natrual trim and painted mullions etc. would it be ok to stain both? any guidance would be appreciated.

thanks,
skipper

Skipper,

You can do pretty much anything you want. Here in Sarah's office, we have pine surrounded by cherry, natural for the contrast. You could do something like this, or you could stain both woods with different stains. If you talk to a painter, they should be able to give you some ideas.

Thanks.

Marie
