A ranch style house I'm working on has the back 2 bedrooms merged into one master, and has 2 closets. The smaller of the two juts into the master bath, making it cramped with no room to towel off. Would it be worth removing this closet to gain some breathing room in the master bath? The closet is 31"x46", about 1/4 of the bathroom size. The other closet is almost a walk-in at 90" wide by 46" deep, enough for a hanging rail on either side of the entrance.

thanks,
jim

I think you should lose the smaller closet and give the master bath some breathing room. Our house now has a very cramped bathroom and it's hard to navigate. In my experience bathrooms are really family rooms - especially in the mornings! Smiler

I guess so. Having a space for everything can look spacious. Try figuring out where the closet must be.
