My husband and I own a 1,324 square foot, mid-fifties, ranch style, cement block and stucco tract house. A pre-hung, flush, fiberglass single door entry system will be installed shortly. The door exterior will be painted a muted, dark coral, and will be our home's main entrance. It will be on a covered front porch whose walls are a soft, bluish green, and whose trim is a light gray. The rest of the house exterior also either is that soft, bluish green or that light gray.

My husband wants the exterior jambs to be painted the same light gray as the rest of the trim. I want the exterior jambs to be painted the same color as the door exterior, as I think that that's the popular tradition. Which of those two colors for the exterior jambs would you recommend for maximum curb appeal? The answer to this question may seem obvious to you, but I've been unable to find it. Thank you. P.S. By "jambs," I mean "door frame trim moldings." Thanks again.
