I live on the west side of LA (a tough place to build a NSBH, but we are hoping to take advantage of the equity we've built in an ocean view home, now too big with our daughters out of the house). What is a good estimate for cost per sq. ft of remodeling? Given the climate, we'd like to have an "outdoor" room(s). How does this effect the cost.
