There is an exterior photo of a house on a sloped lot, page 146 (I think - I don't have the book with me). It was shown to make the point that sloped lots can be cheaper, and that they need not compromise the house. The house and landscaping look very nice from the outside, and I was wondering if there are more photos of this house, exterior and interior, and a floorplan on the web somewhere. Sarah is listed as one of the architects in the credits in the back of the book.

Was wondering too whether this was build from pre-assembled sections like the original NSBH, or whether it was framed on-site.

I did not see this particular house model on this site or on the Healthy Homes site.

Love the book, by the way. It took me a while to figure out that most of the interior photos were of the same original NSBH. Good, because I was hoping it was multi-story.

Thanks

Randal,

The house you're referring to was one of the first that Sarah and her former partner, Dale Mulfinger did together. Unfortunately, the plans are not available for sale, but you can see the main floor plan in Not So Big Solutions for Your Home, page 29. On page 42 of the same book, there is a blow-up of the kitchen plan. The upstairs has children's bedrooms above the garage, with the master bedroom in the middle.

Sarah also does not have any more pictures of the house, unfortunately.

Glad you enjoyed the book. Thanks for your post.

Marie
